AARFID™ ’s Buddy System™ links parental and guardian records to the records of children for whom they are responsible.

(Note: If desired, biometric scanning may also optionally be included in this application.)

Secure Registration

AARFID™ ’s Buddy System ensures secure registration and linkage between parent/guardian and the children in their group. Registration can be completed either on-line or when families or groups arrive at your site. You have control over the data to be collected.

At the end of the registration process, pictures of parent / guardian are taken and stored in the AARFIDware™ database.

Finally, using AARFID™ ’s HAWCCT™ system, UID’s of media assigned to children are linked to the UID’s of parental media.

Day Care

When used at a day care facility, AARFID™ ’s Buddy system also provides the opportunity to link children to counselors.

When exiting the day care facility, parents must exit first. As they exit, parents present their wrist bands first. AARFIDware™ lays a picture of the parent on screen. Then, the child presents his or her wrist band. The child’s picture appears on screen as well. As long as there is a match in AARFIDware™ between the parent and child wrist bands, the child is allowed to pass. However, if there is a discrepancy, warnings will flash and e-mail and text messages are sent to designated staff.

Money / Tokens

The AARFID™ Buddy System ™ can be utilized in conjunction with AARFID™ ’s Cashless application to better govern how children spend money around your facility. Guests simply “buy” cash or tokens when they arrive or at various times during the day. From kiosks or the comfort of their own homes, parents or guardians allocate funds to their children. To update their media with the allocated funds, children simply present their wristbands strategically located around your facility.

Once money or tokens are allocated to children, they pay for food, drinks, or souvenirs. Parents can set spending limits per concession type, day of week, etc.

Parents can review spending patterns on line or at kiosks.

Last Known Location

Parents/chaperones can view last known location of children.

With each purchase or access, AARFIDware™ updates the “Last Known Location” table for the children. Parents can view last know location and patterns children took during the time of their stay at your facility.

Messages

Sometimes it is necessary to alert members of a group about any of the following:

• Injury
• Illegal activity
• Lost child (child is lost, but safe)
• Missing child (child’s whereabouts is unknown)
• General Message

With AARFID™ ’s messaging, any member of a party can securely send a message from any computer on which AARFIDware™ is installed. Then, as other party members pass readers, messages may display or lights may flash indicating that messages are waiting.

The messaging option assumes that digital displays, computer monitors or light stacks are installed and attached to the system.

Lost / Stolen Media
